99% Stop
The critical 99% moment in KOTH/Flashpoint where a single contest call can force overtime and reset the win.
Because the OT check triggers at 99%, the defending side can dump every resource into that point, deny 100% with a single touch, and rerun the fight. The progressing side has to clear every contest out before 99% (a clean kill), which makes it the moment where the late-KOTH mind game is most concentrated. The progressing side's mandate is "put all of them down before we enter 99"; the defending side's is "keep one player alive to go touch." Plenty of teams hold every Ult specifically to line them up at 99%.
When the enemy reaches 99% on KOTH/Flashpoint. When you are at 99% and the defending side commits to a contest.
The defending side never goes for the touch and lets 99% run straight to 100%. The progressing side burns every Ult before 99% and lets a defender survive.
